Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) is a dynamic hub of innovation, consistently pushing the boundaries across land, sea, and air. Our project portfolio is unparalleled. Drawing on Formula One expertise and precision, we elevate the AC75 Racing Yacht and revolutionize Moto GP aerodynamics.

We’re looking for a Technical Buyer (6 Month Fixed Term Contract) to support RBAT in utilising the internal manufacturing resources available across campus, ensuring timing and costs are in line with expected project requirements. Excellent knowledge of machined metallic components, composites, additive manufacturing methods is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the supply process of internally manufactured components for designated projects.
• Identify and create process improvements to support RBAT manufacturing strategy.
• Identify and assign components to be manufactured internally, using best practices (Make vs Buy).
• Expedite progress of components & raw materials, highlighting potential delays in a timely manner to all relevant parties and using relevant manufacturing experience to overcome supply problems.
• Create and manage the internal routings of internally manufactured parts.
• Support key stakeholders in planning and cost profiles.
• Develop current stakeholder relations and maintain up to date information on the manufacturing system, always ensuring its integrity.
• Support the budget planning and cost monitoring processes as required.
• Be a focal point of support/advice for the wider team in terms of internal manufacturing procurement matters.
• Have proven experience in the successful procurement of low‑volume, high‑complexity mechanical components.
• Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and mechanical competence, showing the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and the manufacturing techniques required to produce said components.
