Overview
We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Technical Analyst to join our team, working with a leading FinTech client in London. This is a strategic role where you'll act as a vital bridge between business needs and technical delivery. You'll leverage your experience working with external clients to gather requirements, translate business goals into actionable insights, and ensure clear, consistent communication across stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to understand client priorities and align them with project outcomes will be key to driving success.
Base pay range
£50k-£70k per annum, depending on experience
What You'll Do
- You will serve as the primary liaison between our clients and the offshore development team. Elicit business requirements from clients and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications for engineers.
- Take ownership of the project delivery lifecycle, managing development teams to ensure they deliver on client needs. Lead the methodology and approach, define what good looks like, provide technical guidance for successful integration and implementation, and communicate progression updates to clients.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, including IT infrastructure and hosting teams. Influence and align internal teams on priorities to ensure project success.
- Maintain clear communication, providing regular updates and key alerts to management. Distill complex information into concise reports.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where the answers aren’t always predefined. Be comfortable with ambiguity and take ownership to lead the process from start to finish.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a Business Analysis or Technical Analyst role, preferably within a technology-driven company, Fintech or InsurTech environment.
- Clear ability to explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead with technical confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to elicit requirements from external clients and navigate conversations with engineers and senior executives.
- A desire to take ownership, lead, and influence stakeholders to drive delivery.
- Ability to adapt to different client and internal stakeholder needs and maintain direction throughout.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
