Job Description

This permanent, part‑time opportunity offers hands‑on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location

Preston South VIC, 3072

Shifts available Monday to Friday
  • BSC: 6:30 am – 8:45 am
  • ASC: 3 pm – 6 pm
  • 26.25 hours per week

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high‑quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.

  • Involved: Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
  • Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
  • Genuine: Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
  • Fun: Play and have FUN with primary‑school‑aged children.
  • Remarkable: Support the program to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate
  • ✅ Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential – we can train you!
  • ✅ Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
  • ✅ Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
  • ✅ Strong team player with excellent problem‑solving skills and a can‑do, positive attitude.
  • ✅ Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‑aged children.
  • ✅ Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!
