A leading legal firm in Bournemouth is seeking a proactive Team Supervisor for its Litigation & Recoveries team. This role entails overseeing a small team, managing workflows, and providing support to ensure client service excellence. Ideal candidates should have strong organisational and communication skills. We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Team Supervisor to join our fast-growing Litigation & Recoveries team in Bournemouth. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a busy team specialising in asset and motor finance recoveries and collections , helping to drive performance, support team development, and ensure client service excellence.
As a Team Supervisor, you will work closely with the Team Leader to oversee a team of 6, ensuring efficient workflow management and a high standard of case handling. Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising daily tasks and schedules, maintaining oversight of team productivity and workflow.
Providing constructive feedback, guidance, and support to help team members meet performance and compliance standards.
Acting as a mentor within the team, motivating and supporting staff development.
Assisting with legal case progression, including drafting documents and liaising with clients and customers.
Monitoring work quality alongside the Recoveries Team Leader and identifying training needs or areas for improvement.
Helping to maintain a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
This is a varied role that blends people management with hands-on work, ideal for someone seeking career progression in a fast-paced environment.
A flexible and proactive approach, with excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise a high-volume workload.
The confidence to manage team performance and provide constructive feedback.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in insurance, collections, banking or call centres is desirable, but not essential.
Full legal training will be provided.
