We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and passionate qualified social worker with experience managing or supervising Social Workers within a statutory setting. Whether you are already a Team Manager or an aspiring Senior Social Worker, you will be a collaborative team player who can motivate and empower your team. You should have experience of safeguarding, care planning and permanency, and the ability to think creatively and work in partnership with other colleagues and partner agencies to tackle the complex challenges in this sector.
As Team Manager you will lead and manage the Family Support Team, ensuring high‑quality social work practice and intervention to improve outcomes for children and young people. You will work closely with the Service Manager and the Management team to foster an environment where learning and development is embraced and encouraged.
Our Children’s Services Department is friendly and supportive. We work within the Signs of Safety model, use a contextual safeguarding approach, and are passionate about developing social work staff with a comprehensive training and development offer.
Base pay range: £53,460 – £61,638 per annum (plus Market Supplement £5,400 per annum).
