Overview

Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 1 or 2 Required

30 hours per week - term time only. Contract Type- permanent. Coastal Academies Trust Grade 3 Point 11 £24,800 FTE (£16,998 actual)

Responsibilities

• Mix of whole class support, small group work and some 1:1 support within the classroom and through interventions.
• We have a knowledgeable and supportive staff who will offer training, guidance and expertise. Our teachers and Teaching Assistants work closely and collaboratively together as a team to ensure that every child can succeed.

What we are looking for

• Ideally has experience working with primary aged children in a school setting but patience, resilience, kindness, a positive attitude and good sense of humour are equally as important.
• Is willing to learn how to support children with additional needs
• Can work as part of a team and also from their own initiative
• Can be flexible in response to the needs of children and the school
