An educational institution in Sheffield is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support the educational development of KS1 and KS2 children. The ideal candidate will be caring, passionate, and proactive, helping children access the curriculum and modeling positive behaviors. This full-time role involves working 30 hours per week during term time. Applicants must be committed to safeguarding and willing to engage in the academy community.

The Principal and Governors of Lowedges Primary Academy are looking to appoint an experienced, caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Academy. The successful candidate will be passionate, proactive and committed to the wellbeing, safety and educational development of our children in school, working with our KS1/KS2 children.

Working 30 hours per week term time. (Term time includes working 2 out of 5 INSET days each academic year as directed, with availability to work any or all of the remaining 3 INSET days at short notice should the need arise).

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check at the appropriate level. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a self-declaration related to their criminal record or any information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. Additional checks in relation to the Childcare Disqualification Regulations will be undertaken for successful candidates to junior academies. If you have lived or worked outside of the UK, additional information may be required from you to satisfy safer recruitment checks.
