Job description

Hamilton Academy is looking to employ a Teaching Assistant. The role will initially be focused on supporting pupils 1-to-1 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) reporting to the SENCo, but could also include working with other individuals or groups under the direction of the class teacher and Year Group Leader. The role may be based in any key stage within the school, from EYFS to KS2.

Term time only

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Actual starting salary £15,419

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 28.75 hours per week (5.75hrs/day Mon-Fri), 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate they have the experience and/or skills to support pupils in class and through individual or small group interventions. You should be able to demonstrate that you have strong communication skills, are positive, flexible in attitude and approach, as well as being able to use your own initiative.
