Job Category: Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant

Location: London

NRPS is an established, thriving orthodox Jewish School for boys and girls aged 2-11, situated in Hendon NW4.

Our school is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed individual to join our wonderful team to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2. Under the direction of the Deputy Head Inclusion & Pastoral. You will be assisting with both classroom management and individualised learning plans, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Able to support children individually, within a small group or whole class
  • Demonstrate a commitment to supporting students with special educational needs and who have an EHCP
  • Possess an understanding of how to assist students with learning difficulties.
  • Supporting children’s personal needs and social development.
  • Helping to prepare classrooms for lessons and assisting with resource management.
  • Encouraging children’s interaction and independence in learning activities.
  • Show dedication to upholding the ethos of Nancy Reuben Primary School
  • Exhibit a passion for fostering children’s learning and development.
  • Display flexibility in supporting staff and students as needed within the role.

You will be a role model for our pupils, promoting positive behaviour and inclusion. Experience working with children is desirable, but your enthusiasm, communication skills, and willingness to collaborate as part of a team are just as important.
