Salary: Pay Scale Within: £33,731 - £51,942

Mainscale teacher for Portfield Satellite Centre (Y Porth) Ysgol Y Preseli
Portfield School Satellite caters for pupils with a range of severe and complex learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders and sensory impairments. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to teach KS3/4 pupils with severe learning difficulties. A knowledge of child development is essential with the ability to teach the early stages of reading, writing and mathematical development.
The ability to teach through the medium of Welsh is essential.
Teachers would be required to have a knowledge of Primary & Secondary phases. A knowledge of accreditation qualifications would be advantageous.
All candidates are encouraged to visit Portfield School/Y Porth and will be expected to teach a group of KS3 or KS4 pupils.

Teaching staff at Portfield receive an additional SEN 1 Allowance of £2838.00.
