Overview

Tytherington School are looking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join our growing Mathematics department. A great opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious team in a forward looking and evidence-informed 11-18 comprehensive school.

Job title: Teacher of Mathematics

Contract type: Fixed Term contract from 23 February 2026 until 22 May 2026

Working Time: 195 days / 1265 hours per year (Full-Time) or Part-Time equivalent

Salary/allowances: Full MPS/ UPS range considered – This role is suitable for an ECT or experienced colleague.

The Role

The Role

This is a key post in a dynamic and ambitious department working with a Head of Department who leads a team focused on improving student outcomes. We are looking for a candidate with the skills and desire to develop a love of Mathematics with all students whatever their prior attainment.

The successful applicant will be able to work with students of all abilities at Key Stage 3 and 4, with the ability to teach A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics desirable.
