Teacher of Geography – Bablake Senior School

Temporary/Full-time (maternity cover)

Required from 04/26 – 12/26

Bablake is a vibrant school supported by a diverse and enthusiastic community of staff, pupils, parents and alumni.

We are looking to appoint a full time Geography teacher to cover the period from 1st April 2026 to 31st December 2026. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and will be able to engage and inspire pupils across the ability range and convey an enthusiasm for the subject. You must be capable of teaching Geography to pupils in Year 7 to 11, including GCSE and possibly A level.

Developed organisational skills and pedagogical knowledge will be required to follow schemes of work, to deliver impactful lessons and to work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and throughout the School. You should be willing to contribute to the Department’s co-curricular provision.

Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and ECTs. Regardless of your experience level, you will have a strong degree of expertise in the subject, will be empathetic, a real energiser and keen to share your enthusiasm for the subject and for teaching.
