Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in St Andrews for a Taxi Driver at Starfish Travel. The Taxi Driver will provide transportation services to clients for private tours, ensuring safe, punctual, and friendly service. Responsibilities include navigating routes to various tourist attractions, assisting passengers with their needs, providing local insights and recommendations, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. The role also requires collaboration with clients to meet their individualized travel preferences and answering inquiries regarding tour activities and destinations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience operating vehicles such as minibuses or MPVs
• Strong knowledge of Scottish geography, tourist attractions, and local destinations, including dining and sightseeing options
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, including being personable and professional with clients
• Multilingual abilities (e.g., English, Dutch, German) are highly desirable
• Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and tour schedules
