Covering the North/ East Region of our patch, Our Network Control team have an opportunity for you to join as our new Tank Assurance Technician.
In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of potable tank inspection and assurance programme, whilst doing so you will show care for Colleagues, Customers, Suppliers and the Environment by monitoring and maintaining compliance with relevant Health and Safety, Security, Environmental, Quality and Water Hygiene requirements.
Additionally, you’ll have the curiosity to drive continuous improvement and influence a positive culture. You will take pride in scoping water quality critical remedial work and ensure repairs are carried out to the standard specified and ensure that all potable tanks (DSRs and process tanks) receive the same level of care regardless of their purpose or location. This role will require courage to challenge the potable tank inspection frequency programme to influence our future capital investment plans to drive project and investment delivery to achieve highest standards at lowest cost.

We’re seeking our new Tank Assurance Technician to be comfortable highlighting any immediate risk to water quality from catchment, security or site activity taking immediate corrective action and escalation to responsible manager.
To be successful, it’s expected that you’ll have knowledge of working on Potable Water tanks, suitable health, safety, environmental and qualifications, hold a Water hygiene blue. You’ll also be able to manage your own time and work alone using your own initiative, while having the ability to communicate both positive and challenging messages to people at all different levels.
Additional you’ll understand the water network and treatment processes together with water quality risk indicators and sampling methods.
This role will cover the whole North/ East Region. As travel is required, you’ll also be required to hold a full UK driving licence.
