The opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition professional to lead and evolve our hiring practices, to meet the requirements of a fast growing company. The remit requires a resourceful and tenacious professional capable of assembling talent pipelines in our key roles, many of which are in operational/frontline roles. This is both a strategic and 360 hands-on recruiter role, requiring someone with experience in diverse and creative sourcing strategies beyond LinkedIn. You will be responsible for shaping our recruitment processes, promoting the employer brand, building scalable talent pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to ensure the timely and effective delivery of recruitment campaign plans across multiple departments.

Location & Hours

The role is permanent and based out of our HQ in Henham (CM22 6AA), enjoying a rural location, where lunch is provided onsite daily and ample parking. Working hours are 30 per week with flexibility in how these hours are distributed across the week. We offer an agile working approach, including the option to work one day per week from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition Planning: Develop and execute robust Talent Acquisition plans aligned with business priorities, focusing on hiring for operational / frontline roles
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers to ensure hiring campaigns are successful and supporting with interview planning and feedback where required
  • Selection & Assessment: Continue to use and develop fit for purpose and best practice interview, selection & assessment tools, interview support to ensure timely hiring and objective decision making
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement best-in-class recruitment processes that improve speed, quality of hire, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction
  • Talent Pipeline: Proactively build and maintain strong talent pipelines through a mix of direct sourcing, strategic partnerships (e.g. local colleges), and employer branding initiatives
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with the marketing team to clearly promote the Planteria value proposition to prospective employees
Requirements

What you will need to know:

  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong track record of hiring for operational/frontline roles in field service, manufacturing, logistics, or similar industries
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement scalable hiring strategies in high-growth or high-volume environments
  • 360 in house recruitment experience including pro-active search, interview and selection
  • Someone who relishes working with hiring managers on campaigns
  • Broad knowledge of diverse sourcing approaches and employer branding
  • Experience working with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics
  • Well organised with effective project management skills
