Salary

Circa £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.

Working Arrangements

Hybrid: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

Security Clearance

British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. After offer, all candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).

Opportunity

The Land Ceptor System of Systems organisation is growing fast to support export contracts and product evolution, enhancing capabilities for our customers. As a System of Systems engineer your primary objective is to support the functional integration of the Land Ceptor product into a wider Ground Based Air Defence Weapon System context.

Responsibilities
  • Working with the customer to define System of Systems Requirements and evolution paths.
  • Defining architecture and use‑cases to support development and evolution of system requirements.
  • Defining integration requirements and verification plans.
  • Conducting design and technical reviews internally and with the customer.
  • Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team on technical issues, queries and conflict resolution, including co‑ordinating responses to and from the customer and industrial partners.
Qualifications
  • Experience in developing and integrating complex systems, preferably in the defence industry.
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to initiate and drive trade studies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience developing requirement sets and agreeing these collaboratively with stakeholders, including System Design Authorities and government organisations.
  • Project engineering knowledge to design and deliver work packages.
  • Familiarity with system architecture tools, including DOORS and Rhapsody.
