Learn more about what sets us apart .**About The Role**### What the role will entail* Join a market-leading capital markets team with an exceptional transaction track record.* Gain exposure to high-profile investment deals across the UK.* Work closely with global clients on institutional-grade transactions.* Clear pathway for progression to Associate Director and beyond, with support for leadership development.* Opportunity to co-lead mandates and manage client relationships at a high level.### What you will be responsible for**Shopping Centre Deal Support*** Work alongside senior members of the team in managing and executing buy-side and sell-side transactions across retail assets, focussing on the UK shopping centre market.* Oversee due diligence processes, liaising with occupational, legal and technical advisors.* Coordinate with colleagues across the UK offices to source suitable investment opportunities and present these to clients.* Ensure compliance with internal risk management procedures such as KYC and AML best practice.**Financial Analysis & Modelling*** Build and maintain discounted cash flow (DCF) models for multi-let retail assets and portfolios.* Undertake sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling to inform investment decisions.* Interpret and analyse external cash flow models to critically appraise third party information.* Extract and interpret financial data from tenancy schedules, asset management and development plans, lease agreements, research data and legal documents.* Apply underwriting assumptions for investment appraisals and assess their impact on cash flow outputs.* Advanced Excel skills essential; knowledge of Argus Enterprise desirable.**Pitching and Business Development*** Lead and manage the preparation, design and content of pitch documents. Take an active role in the delivery of client pitch presentations.* Lead the preparation of investment memorandums and investor sales packs so assets are ready for launch to the market.**Investor Requirements*** Develop a granular understanding of investor requirements, servicing these requirements through regular liaison with fellow Knight Frank colleagues.* Keep an up-to-date data base of client requirements and activity.* Attend investor meetings with the senior team members, actively participate and take a proactive approach in following up.**Information Management and Market Research*** Build a robust knowledge of the UK retail market, with good awareness of both investment and occupational dynamics.* Monitor trends and market activity in the retail sectors.* Utilise internal and external contacts and publicly available to gather market intelligence.* Develop a network of external contacts (clients and agents) to source information and opportunities.* Keep a comprehensive, well-structured and up to date data set on client activity, investment transactions and relevant leasing transactions.**Team Leadership*** Mentor junior surveyors and graduates, nurture their skill set to support the team.* Support the team’s growth by taking an active role in meetings contributing market knowledge and suggesting new ideas.### ### What experience you will need**Qualifications and Experience*** Full RICS membership (MRICS).* Experience in real estate capital markets, preferably with exposure to the retail sectors.* Strong understanding of real estate valuation and cashflow modelling.* Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders and clients.**Skills and Personal Quality*** Sociable and approachable, enjoys working with others and has a collaborative approach working as part of a team.
