A caring individual in Salisbury seeks a Personal Assistant to support daily living activities and provide companionship. The role involves personal care, driving a large vehicle, and assisting with various daily tasks. Ideal candidates should be reliable, caring, and comfortable with pets. The hourly pay is £14.20 for 30-35 hours per week with a potential for employment benefits.
30 to 35 hours per week (Mon/Wed/Thurs 8am‑5pm; Tues/Fri 8am‑11am)
Are you reliable, caring, and looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day? I’m a 37‑year‑old man with Cerebral Palsy, and I’m looking for a Personal Assistant to support me with daily living and help me enjoy the things I love most.
I’m a proud Southampton FC supporter and love following the team – both by watching matches and keeping up with fantasy football on my iPad. From time to time, I go to home games at St Mary’s Stadium, and I always enjoy the excitement of being part of the crowd. I also have a real passion for trains – especially filming freight trains at the local station. My favourite season is summer, and I especially love the joy and traditions of Christmas.
I’m looking for someone who can provide personal care support, including showering, toileting, dressing, hoisting, and feeding. You’ll need to have a clean driving licence and be confident driving a large vehicle (Ford Tourneo Transit), as we’ll occasionally go on days out together.
The right person will be agile, reasonably strong, and punctual, with a calm and friendly attitude. You’ll also need to be pet‑friendly, as I share my home with a dog and a cat who are very much part of the family.
If you’re someone who enjoys good company, has a caring nature, and takes pride in helping others live independently and happily, then this could be the perfect role for you.
