Pay Range

Stakesby Road – Complex Care

This range is provided by The Wilf Ward Family Trust. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience – talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person‑centred support for three individuals with complex health needs and learning disabilities at their home in Whitby.
  • Deliver personal care and assist with mobility.
  • Prepare meals and supervise eating.
  • Monitor, record, and administer medication.
  • Accompany individuals to activities such as cinema trips, shopping, eating out, arts and crafts, and swimming.
  • Communicate effectively using a variety of methods and adapt to individual communication styles.
  • Work every other weekend. Shifts are varied on a rota basis to include mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Requirements

Kind, compassionate, empathetic, and eager to learn and make a difference.

Driver preferred due to remote location.

Demonstrated understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and welfare of adults at risk.

Background checks, including DBS and prior referencing, are required prior to a start date agreed. Applicants barred from working under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 cannot apply.
