A leading charity organization in Crowthorne is looking for dedicated Support Workers to provide person-centred care for adults with neurodevelopmental needs. The role includes supporting personal care, promoting independence, and engaging residents in activities. This full-time position offers £13.00 per hour with additional benefits like paid training and enhanced parental pay.
About the Role
We’re looking for committed Support Workers to join the team at Tova, a specialist residential home within Ravenswood Village, supporting adults with complex neurodevelopmental needs. You’ll play a key role in delivering person-centred care and helping people live safe, fulfilling, and independent lives.
You’ll join a strong, supportive team, where the work you do really matters.
About Tova
Tova is a single-storey home based within the Ravenswood Estate, supporting seven adults aged 20s to 60s with severe learning disabilities, epilepsy, and in some cases, dementia and physical support needs. Most residents use non-verbal communication such as Makaton, objects of reference, facial expressions, and body movements. Building strong, personalised relationships is essential.
People in Tova enjoy active lives with interests like swimming, sensory sessions, music, baking, gardening, drives out, holidays, and more. All require high levels of support including 1:1 and 2:1 assistance with personal care, moving and positioning, and community outings.
