Position: Support Worker

Location: Bushey, Watford

Salary: £10,344 per annum

Hours: Part-time (15 hours per week)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Stainton Court, a supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities in Bushey.

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Assess needs and develop personalised support plans
  • Aid with the daily administration of medication
  • Promote independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
  • Follow and contribute to risk assessments and management plans
  • Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goals

You will be part of a friendly, supportive team that values collaboration and compassion.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, who brings a can‑do attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive.

You will also need to:

  • Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
  • Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
  • Work well as part of a team and independently
  • Be committed to equality, diversity, and person‑centred care
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work

We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
