A local support service provider in Middlesbrough is looking for a Support Worker to join their team. This role involves helping individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health challenges live fulfilling lives. No previous experience is required, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a supportive approach, focus on people's strengths, and promote choice and independence. The position offers flexible hours and a commitment to staff development.

The role involves supporting people to live active lives in the community, managing their daily living skills, facilitating their hobbies and interests and helping people realise their dreams!
We provide person centred individualised care with a focus on the model of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS)!
You will receive a 2-week induction and learn about PBS, understanding communication and behaviour, how to teach skills and enable people to live the lifestyle that they wish!
A workplace induction follows which enables you to learn how to support the individual in the way they wish. We will fund staff to complete the Level 3 Health & Social Care. We have a leadership pathway for those who have the right ambition, skills and aptitude which can take you from Support Worker to Team Leader and beyond!
