Are you ready for a change and looking for a rewarding job in health and social care? This may be the job for you!
I am a young man living at home with my dad and our friendly dog. I have a good sense of humour and enjoy being around people who are relaxed, respectful, and kind. I have complex health needs, including the use of a PEG and non-invasive ventilation to support my breathing. I require 24/7 care and support and am looking for a reliable, caring personal assistant to join my small, dedicated team. My care is a mix of clinical and personal support. I need help with my daily routines, personal care, monitoring of my equipment, and accessing the community.
37 hours per week.
Shifts include day shifts: 7am‑5pm and waking night 10pm‑7am. There is the possibility of additional hours. Shifts are well‑structured, and you’ll always have support nearby if needed.
Day hours £12.74 per hour. Night hours/Weekends £16.56 per hour.
The ideal person will live locally or have a car due to the remote location and limited public transport. They should be able to commit to regular shifts with some flexibility to cover holidays or sickness. No experience with PEG care or non‑invasive ventilation is required; full training will be provided. Candidates should be confident, attentive, and willing to learn; comfortable working in a home environment; and good with dogs.
