A community support service in Carryduff is seeking a full-time Support Worker. The role involves helping autistic individuals achieve independence, supporting their community integration, and developing necessary life skills. The National Autistic Society (NAS) is committed to transforming lives and building a society that works for autistic people. We provide residential services that offer accommodation and support for autistic adults 52 weeks a year, 24 hours a day, in urban and rural settings, and supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live in their own homes or within NAS accommodation. This advert is for a full-time Support Worker role based in Carryduff, Belfast, with a salary of £22,222.20 per annum. Working hours are 35 hours between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday. There are no evenings or weekends, no waking nights or sleep-ins required. We do not offer sponsorship for this role.

What we are looking for We are seeking Support Workers with the passion to work with our teams. A background in supporting autistic people is preferred, but we also offer a comprehensive training programme to help you achieve a fulfilling job. You may have a personal connection to autism or real-life experience working with autistic people. You will have experience supporting vulnerable people in a residential setting and, if you share our values and are willing to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements Driving licence (minimum one year) is preferred. Prior experience in residential care for vulnerable adults is advantageous. You will be aligned with NAS values and committed to safeguarding autistic adults.
