Turning Point Scotland’s Dundee service provides support to individuals with a wide range of needs including learning disability, physical disability, autism, mental health illness and community justice. We offer supported living services, housing support and day opportunities to promote independence and choice, enabling access to education, employment and social activities. All support is person‑centred and delivered in partnership with service users, families, health teams, social work teams and advocacy services.
As a Support Practitioner, you will work one‑to‑one or as part of a team to provide practical and emotional support for adults with diverse needs, helping them achieve personal outcomes across safety, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical and emotional health, relationships and wellbeing. You will support individuals in developing relationships, maintaining a home and accessing everyday life experiences.
No previous working experience is required; full training will be provided. The right values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity are essential. IT skills are required for all vacancies. Successful candidates must register with the SSSC within six months of start date. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is not required, though it can be an asset.
