Job description

We're now looking for our new future stars, so if you're looking for a new job for 2026 that will bring you satisfaction like no other, look no further as we have some great opportunities for female Support Practitioners to join our fantastic TeamAColtPark in Bishopbriggs on a permanent basis.

Our team and the individuals you'll support

You will be joining a dedicated team of Support Practitioners providing support to 4 individuals with varying support needs. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities including cooking especially Indian cuisine, being out and about exploring new places and socialising when their busy schedules allow! Our aim is to enable the people we support to live a fulfilling and valued life, where they can achieve their own personal goals and aspirations.

Taking an active role in the planning and delivery of person-centred care, you will support and encourage the people we support to express their views and wishes. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting these individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, some aspects of personal care, meal preparation, administering medication and the management of personal finances.

About You

At Cornerstone we don’t recruit on experience and qualifications. We’re more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team! We’ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you’ll need to build a career within the Health & Social Care sector. We’ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and your yearly SSSC registration fees too!

All we'll need you to bring is:
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • A caring attitude and approach
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Willing to learn the interests of others and find new ways to explore these
  • The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too!)
Shift Patterns

Our friendly team provides support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our shift patterns consists of mostly mid shifts 10am until 5pm, however there may time we’ll need you to cover a sleepover shift which is 10am until 10am the following day.
