Qualifications

Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

The role

As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will ensure critical materials are available to keep life‑saving helicopters flying and supporting missions that make a real difference to communities.

Responsibilities
  • Optimise inventory by managing stock levels, reducing obsolete items, and ensuring safety stock for fast‑moving parts
  • Forecast and manage material availability, including repair orders and expediting as needed
  • Produce and share reports, coordinating with Engineering and Tool Store to ensure calibrated tooling availability
  • Coordinate international movements of components/tools, ensuring compliance with import/export and trade regulations
  • Maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL) and supplier documentation in line with UK Civil Aviation Authority requirements.
Essential Experience
  • Proven experience in planning, scheduling, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple, sometimes conflicting tasks effectively
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
