Job Description

You will play a key role in the UK Bank’s central business functions, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost control and optimisation. Reporting to the Project & Supplier Manager, you will help to manage all aspects of the supplier lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying suppliers to managing and evaluating their performance.

Responsibilities
  • Working with stakeholders to understand the business requirements for a new service or supplier
  • Conducting market surveys and managing RFx activities
  • Developing new and existing relationships with suppliers
  • Performing risk assessments to determine supplier risk profiles
  • Negotiating contract terms with suppliers
  • Managing supplier performance and identifying areas of improvement through internal and external reviews
  • Managing and minimising the risks (operational, reputational etc.) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
  • Considering the environmental impact of the supply chain in order to meet sustainability targets
  • Supporting the optimisation and strengthening of our procurement processes
  • Implementing new technologies and staying alert to new trends and developments in the sector
  • Takes initiative, works pro-actively with the ability to multi-task
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supplier lifecycle management
  • Positive and resilient mindset to deliver amazing outcomes
  • Logical, solution based and analytical approach to work
  • Ability to work at pace through conflicting priorities
  • Strong organisational, planning and presentation skills
  • Experience using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) or Supplier Management tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Location
  • London (5 days per week in the office)
  • Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
