A leading sports technology company seeking a Football Systems Operator for delivery at Premier League and Championship matches. This full-time role involves technology installation at stadiums across the UK. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel. Location: Based within a reasonable commute of our Basingstoke Office
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term - 12 Months
Salary: £20,000
Travel: There will be travel domestically, with potential travel across Europe and globally
Expected Start Date: Summer 2026
As a Football Systems Operator, you will work on-site at football stadiums around the UK, playing a key part in delivering our services to Premier League and Championship matches. You will have the chance to be involved in the research and development of existing and new products.
When on-site at stadiums, the role will encompass the installation and operation of our technology for matches. You will need to be prepared to work on weekends and midweek evenings, as we work whenever Football happens.
Whilst we provide several services in top-flight football, you will initially focus on learning about our Goal Line Technology service. You will gain exposure to various other services, such as VAR at Stockley Park, as you progress in the role and become a more experienced team member.
We will equip you with the technical training, support and full exposure to our systems to perform your day-to-day tasks, but also encourage development and progression to help make an impact on what we do.

Working Hours: Due to the nature of the sports industry, there is often work on weekends and midweek evenings, and we are expected to fulfil our roles until the last ball has been hit.
Travelling Abroad: You can expect to potentially spend sporadic periods of the year working across Europe and potentially globally, based on the sporting calendar.
High‑Pressure Situations: Working in a live broadcast environment on a production that is distributed to millions worldwide will bring high levels of pressure.
