As a Strategy Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in delivering dedicated support to victims of sexual assault.

Hours: 16 hours per week

Shift Patterns: 9am - 5pm

Salary: £29,699 pro rata based on 40 hours per week

Job responsibilities
  • Anticipate participation in all strategy meetings with both the police and social care, advising with strict criteria on the best route for the child or young person.
  • Ensure children who require a child protection medical are directed to the most appropriate Pediatrician and not brought to the SARC.
  • Guarantee that all elements of a child’s attendance are discussed as part of a multi‑agency arena during strategy meetings.
  • When acting aspho Crisis Worker, provide cover for both the Paediatric and adult Forensic Services at the SARC.
  • Maintain accurate record‑keeping/documentation and confidential client notes in accordance with protocols.
  • Liaise with other voluntary and statutory agencies to meet the health and psychological needs of the patients.
  • Secure storage of all SARC files and forensic samples for potential use in criminal investigations.
