A leading cloud services provider in Glasgow is seeking a motivated Financial Controller to oversee daily finance operations. This pivotal role involves delivering management accounts, driving performance insights, and ensuring financial controls across a business unit with c£100m revenue. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record in translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Experience in a recurring revenue business model.
• Strong track record in cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Confident working with large and complex data sets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Executive Packs for management and reporting.
• Own divisional P&L, ensuring accuracy.
• Oversee monthly close processes and financial controls.
• Prepare budgets, monitor performance, and report variances.
• Identify cost efficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Manage CAPEX budget and spend.
• Support half-year and year-end audit processes.
• Mentor and develop staff within finance function.
