Fixed Term Contract (12-months Maternity Cover) - Full Time, Monday-Friday. Typical hours 07:30 - 15:30

Overview

Enerveo has an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland. Through design, project management, consultancy, installation, and maintenance, we reduce energy consumption and carbon footprints, helping towns and cities become smarter, greener and more efficient.

What will I be doing in this role?

As a Storeperson for the Highways electrical team, your responsibilities will include the management and procurement of materials, stock management, fleet/equipment/plant/building compliance, and supporting the team in job and supplier coordination.

Typical day duties
  • Stock management, including system booking in and out and goods.
  • Undertake stock control, including manual handling and accounting.
  • Ensure appropriate arrangements to maximise stock availability to meet contractual/customer demands.
  • Deal with external suppliers to ensure stock items are at the correct price and delivered on time.
  • Manage and control transport servicing/maintenance bookings to ensure all vehicle operational needs are met.
  • Manage building maintenance and compliance.
  • Program Management – building a program, liaising with clients, operatives and sub-contractors.
  • Management and control of plant and equipment, including ordering and calibration.
  • Support training coordination, HERs/NERs portfolios.
  • Work to and manage a master operative resource log.
Requirements for success
  • Exceptional IT skills (web-based systems, database management systems, stock management systems).
  • Experience in end-to-end delivery of material management, with knowledge of the supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Valid forklift licence required.
  • Program management and coordination experience.
  • Experience/ability to control an asset logging or other database systems.
Nice to have
  • Supply chain and sub-contractor coordination.
  • Experience in building management/asset management.
  • Knowledge in using general accounting software for raising orders.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, guidance and good practice.
