2025 sees MoneyGram Haas F1 Team celebrate its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship… we’re just getting started. We don’t follow the status quo, we’re here to challenge the competition, and we want you to join us.

The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points‑scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, and the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second‑best season to‑date in Formula 1.

General Summary

This position reports to the Stores and Inventory Manager or their designee, located in Banbury, UK. Responsible for receiving, issuing and locating all stock as appropriate within an advance warehouse system whilst adhering to parts policies, guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
  • When required you will be expected to travel to events to work under the direction of the Chief Mechanic both at race weekends and test events guaranteeing a professional parts service to the race team whilst working closely with the factory to ensure supply is in line with demand in a proactive manner.
  • Work with other store, logistic and parts coordinators to create an auditable and accurate store department, driving accurate stock control and accountability for stock movements.
  • Receive parts through goods in, ensuring delivery notes, purchase orders and physical quantities are aligned. Work with procurement to help solve any invoice queries and highlight errors when they occur.
  • Ensure physical inventory accuracy upon part location within stores.
  • Part picking to pick and kit list accurately to defined deadlines, reporting of shortages and inaccuracies.
  • Develop relationships with factory and race team parts coordinators to proactively ensure all activities are accurately monitored and fulfilled.
  • Assist in the Race‑to‑Race Turnaround of components between events, including internal and external tasks whilst working closely with all internal departments.
  • Be an experienced user of multiple ERP software systems with the ability, but not limited to, receive and transfer stock, create requisitions, accurately monitor the inventory and be a proficient user of smart warehousing system.
  • Work alongside the team to assist in the development of the department’s toolset.
  • Carry out weekly stock checks and be heavily involved in year‑end inventory count, including subsequent cataloguing and archiving of non‑carry over car parts.
  • Take an active role in suggesting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide assistance with logistics on freight tasks as required.
  • Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
  • Ensure the stores is clean and tidy throughout the day to ensure the standards of the working environment is maintained.
  • Assumes any responsibilities and duties delegated by the Stores and Inventory Manager or their designee.
Education and Work Experience
  • GSCE, High School education or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Stores Coordination, preferably within the motorsport industry.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet liability/casualty insurance requirements.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Good computer skills, ideally with experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Excel, Power Bi, Outlook and Teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of race car parts and assemblies, including vendors, part functions, serialization and part numbers.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management capacity under limited time situations.
  • Integration within a growing team with a positive attitude, solid team ethic and people skills.
  • Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time‑sensitive situations.
  • Quick decision‑making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way.
  • Work well within a team environment with personnel at all levels.

Equipment and Applications
  • Solid computer knowledge, preferred experience in Microsoft Office and D365 products.
  • Forklift license would be preferable.
  • Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials and facility maintenance requirements.
Work Environment Physical Demands

An ability to work and prioritise within a high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional domestic & international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.

This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast‑paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7‑post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
