The Role and Candidate

We are searching for a Supervisor to work alongside our Assistant Store Manager in our new Brick Lane, London store! This is a key role in managing the store in all aspects of retail operations and ensuring the sales team provides exceptional customer service that meets POP MART’s standards.

This leadership position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for retail management. Your enthusiasm for designer collectible pieces will make you a competitive candidate. The position reports to and receives functional guidance from the Assistant Store Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the store‑in‑charge, overseeing all aspects of store operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
  • Train and supervise the sales team, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales targets
  • Closely monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the merchandising team and management for replenishment
  • Control stock discrepancy by monitoring inventory levels and preventing shoplifting
  • Own visual merchandising. Ensure the store tidiness and cleanliness are maintained at the highest level
  • Manage the cashier point’s daily opening and closing procedures
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
  • Assist in recruitment, evaluation of potential candidates’ performance, and training new team members
  • Perform administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and sales reporting
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications
  • Fluent in professional English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive with strong customer service skills to provide a memorable shopping experience
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising a team
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and reporting
  • Effective time management and task prioritization abilities
  • Team‑oriented with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Desirable but Not Essential
  • Retail management experience from department stores or concession counters
