Job summary

A leading automotive company located in Milton Keynes is seeking a Stock Controller to manage stock replenishment across branches. This full-time role involves close collaboration with Product Managers and Branch Managers to resolve supply issues. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently. While experience in the automotive sector is desirable, full training will be provided. A competitive salary is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily relationships with all branches to avoid stock issues.
  • Resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage due date stock control.
  • Report daily to the Purchase Manager on stock levels.
  • Review Purchase Order status at branches.
  • Handle high volumes of Email orders promptly.
  • Liaise with Branch Managers and Suppliers.
  • Check purchase order statuses.
  • Run unapproved stock requirements.
  • Manage orders to limit carriage charges.

Stock Controller

Full Time

An exciting position has arisen for a Stock Controller to join our busy team based at the Milton Keynes Head Office. Working closely with the Product managers, the Stock Controller is responsible for the day-to-day stock replenishment for all branches under their control, liaising with suppliers and branch managers regarding supply issues and order solutions.

We are offering a competitive salary and ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a daily relationship with all branches avoiding potential stock issues arising.
  • Resolving problems as quick and efficiently as possible when needed.
  • Due date stock control to be managed so we do not double up stock with 2nd line supply.
  • Reporting daily to the Purchase Manager if branch levels need adjusting, any movement with pricing, Quantity break price analysis and G-net issues if needed.
  • Review the Purchase Order status at the branches under your control.
  • Dealing with a high volume of Email orders in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with Branch Managers and Suppliers.
  • Checking purchase order status.
  • Run unapproved stock requirements.
  • Responsible for the management of orders, so not to increase individual carriage charges.
Essential requirements

The ideal candidate must possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and be able to work on their own initiative. Previous experience working within the Automotive sector is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
