Band 5 Staff Nurse

Mental Health Services – Ramsey unit – Dane Garth – Barrow-in-Furness.

We are excited to advertise for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to join the team on Ramsey unit, Dane Garth. As a staff nurse you will work alongside the multi‑disciplinary team to provide a high standard of care to those individuals who are within the most acute phase of illness; ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered.

You will need effective communication skills and will be required to take on the roles of shift leader and named nurse. You will be regularly supported and supervised by a senior member of staff and a preceptorship is available if required. We are committed to staff development and provide encouragement and support to staff to continue their lifelong learning.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will be expected to work shifts covering 24 hours, seven days a week. Please note: This post is subject to an enhanced DBS Clearance.

Education

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification (RNMH & RNLD).
