They will also take part in clinical governance, audit and service development activities.
Supporting learning within the department is an important part of the role, including guiding junior staff and students and helping to foster a positive learning environment. The post-holder will develop extended clinical skills in line with service needs and Trust training pathways.
They are expected to contribute to achieving departmental objectives, assume delegated leadership responsibilities when required, and maintain continual professional development to meet NMC and Trust competency requirements.
