A leading technology company in the UK is looking for a Staff Engineer to enhance their product impact. This role focuses on backend development, encouraging collaboration across teams. Candidates should have backend experience and be skilled in strongly-typed languages like Go. The position offers a competitive salary of £115,000 - £150,000, along with flexible working hours and a learning budget.
We're seeking a talented Staff Engineer to join our mission of making money work for everyone. As a Product Backend Engineer, you'll collaborate within a squad of diverse specialists, including product managers, marketers, designers, and other engineers, to build and support key parts of Monzo. You'll be instrumental in testing hypotheses and delivering impactful solutions to our customers. Our product squads are organized into collectives (Money, Borrowing, Fincrime, etc.), offering a variety of opportunities to match your skills and preferences.
We use technologies like Go, Cassandra, Kafka, Envoy Proxy, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and React.
