Qualifications

  • Experience with moving and handling (training provided).

Monday 9.00am – 4.00pm

Tuesday 8.00am – 2.00pm

These hours are flexible and can be discussed to accommodate appointments and commitments.

Finlay is 19 years old with an immense personality, a love for life, and a great sense of humor. He enjoys socialising, volunteering with SHMU radio and AFCCT, and loves getting out and about.

We are seeking a Personal Assistant (PA) to support Finlay in gaining independence and living life to the fullest.

We need someone warm, friendly, reliable, trustworthy, flexible, and motivated to support Finlay’s independence within the family home. He is a full-time wheelchair user and requires support with all aspects of his daily routine, including driving his wheelchair accessible van, personal care, moving and handling, and maintaining his personal space. The role also involves supporting physiotherapy and ensuring his safety and inclusion in various settings.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Clean UK driving licence
  • Over 25 years old (for Motability insurance)
  • Moving and handling training (training can be provided)
  • Dog lover (we have a friendly family dog)
