Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Digital Transformation

Location: Manchester / Hybrid

About Us: We are undergoing a major digital transformation, redefining how we operate and deliver value to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Project Manager to lead this complex initiative, coordinating multiple stakeholders, service providers, and system integrators to ensure critical milestones are met on time and on budget.

Role Overview: The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery for a large-scale digital transformation program. This role requires a hands‑on leader who thrives in high‑pressure environments, has a proven track record managing both internal teams and external service providers, and is committed to driving results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex digital transformation initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with multiple service providers, vendors, and system integrators, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop, track, and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and obstacles, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration, facilitating communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
  • Take a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving, helping unblock issues and ensuring teams can deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Provide regular project updates and status reports to senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, risks, and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience managing large, complex digital transformation or technology programs.
  • Strong experience in vendor and service provider management, including system integrators.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and execution skills with a track record of delivering against tough deadlines.
  • Hands‑on, action‑oriented, and capable of stepping in to get things done when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
