We are expanding our commercial events team and looking for a Mandarin and/or Cantonese‑speaking event salesperson to identify, pitch, and close new business sponsorship deals for our global and growing portfolio of legal events.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sponsorship sales strategies to meet revenue targets across assigned legal industry events.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and build relationships with prospective sponsors, including law firms, legal technology providers, and service vendors targeting legal professionals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closing. Maintain and grow existing client relationships across the APAC and Greater China regions.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date with legal industry trends to identify new sponsorship opportunities and tailor proposals to client needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, content, research, and event operations teams to ensure sponsor deliverables are fulfilled to the highest standard.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales reports, and provide regular revenue forecasts.

Skills and Experience
  • B2B event sponsorship or media sales, ideally within the legal, professional services, or events industry.
  • Business proficiency (spoken and written) in Mandarin and/or Cantonese as this role is selling specifically to the GCR and APAC jurisdictions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Solid experience of qualifying new business opportunities and transitioning them through the event sales funnel.
  • Pipeline management should be your bread and butter.
  • Strong network or experience working with legal vendors, law firms, or legal tech companies is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create compelling sponsorship proposals and negotiate at senior levels.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
