A major healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking an experienced Urology doctor for a full-time position. The role involves delivering quality care and supporting the urological department while participating in independent research. The ideal candidate should have GMC registration and significant clinical experience. This position is suited for doctors looking to develop and enhance their skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
Monday to Friday.
Fixed term: 12 months.
This post will provide key input to Urology Services in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and support the delivery of national waiting targets. The position is suitable for an experienced doctor in Urology who wishes to gain further exposure to urology. A further aim of the candidate should be the development of independent research aimed at publication in peer‑reviewed journals. The successful candidate is expected to be experienced enough to contribute to the smooth running of all aspects of the urological department and will join a team of Urology surgeons delivering elective, complex cancer, emergency and outpatient services across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
