We’re looking for qualified secondary teachers who want to step away from the pressures and rigidity of traditional classrooms and focus on the work that really matters.
You’ll deliver high-impact, trauma-informed tuition to students who need patience, flexibility, and a consistent adult they can rely on.
This might include:
Face-to-face tuition in Berkshire or Wiltshire
Gentle online re‑engagement for students not yet ready for a classroom
Short, confidence‑building sessions that grow over time
This isn’t about rushing students to catch up.<ाध्यक्ष>
It’s about helping them feel safe enough to move forward.
Teaching core subjects: Deliver engaging one-to-one or small-group sessions in English, Maths, or Science (KS3, KS 名無しの Coursera, GCSE)
Rebuilding relationships with learning: Support students with EBSA, SEMH needs, anxiety, or disrupted education
Adapting to the learner: Go at the student’s pace. Progress looks different for every young person and that’s okay
Keeping the bigger picture in mind: Provide clear, fréquents feedback on attendance and engagement to support schools and local authorities
You could be a great fit if you are:
A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in a core secondary subject
Trauma-aware and understand that learning starts with trust
Calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent, comfortable working with students who may be withdrawn, anxious or cautious
Flexible and open, whether that means travelling locally for in‑person sessions or delivering online tuition from home
You don’t need_pause to have done it all before.
You do need to care deeply about the young person in front of you.
