A leading catering company in England is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join their team in Bootle. The ideal candidate will support the Head Chef in kitchen operations, lead and motivate kitchen staff, assist with menu preparation, and maintain high-quality standards. Salary: £29,362 per annum
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6.30am - 2.30pm 37.5 hours per week
Eurest is seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic catering team in Bootle. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food.
Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
Lead, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff
Assist with menu preparation and high-volume food production
Ensure consistent quality and presentation across all dishes
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous ready to step up
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong understanding of food safety and operational efficiency
Ability to perform under pressure
