Job description

Are you interested in part-time work that: Spreads happiness, connects communities, is filled with music, fun and friendship?

The Together Project are looking for a session leader to join our life-changing Songs & Smiles programme. You’ll deliver intergenerational music groups for 0-4 year olds, their parents/guardians and older adults.

Held in care homes and supported living schemes, the hour-long weekly sessions reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing.

This role is perfect if you:

  • Enjoy mixing with different generations.
  • Love music, movement and good times.
  • Want a hassle-free, rewarding way to earn without investing your own money.
  • Want part-time work (1 session per day, 2-5 days per week during term time) that slots into your other commitments.

The Together Project are looking for people who…

  • Can confidently engage a roomful of people and will bring fun and energy (you don’t need to be a pro-level singer).
  • Will derive job satisfaction from making a difference to people’s lives.
  • Are reliable, trustworthy and can commit to weekly term-term sessions.
  • Are sensitive to the needs of parents, young children and older adults and understanding of the challenges they may be facing.
