Job description

Serves as a client-facing solution advisor throughout the sales cycle helping guide the client through their technical evaluation and decision process of selecting a CPOMS software solution.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand technical needs and system requirements.
  • Provides expertise and support for sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs.
  • Ensure that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications.
  • Proposes improved solutions for customers and explains benefits of changes while being involved in cross-sell opportunities.
  • Be the Pre-Sales technical experton how CPOMS will work and be integrated into a client’s environment.
  • Be involved in technical discussions around integration requests for other systems (Student Information System Integration, Access Control, Mass Notification Systems, etc.).
  • Drive growth in sales bookings through technical expertise, ensuring technical agreements are accurate and validating client configurations.
  • Technical support for meetings involving CTO, IT, Network Specialists, etc. as well as being the go-to resource for technical questions.
  • Lead client discussions of Active Directory set-up policies and recommendations.
  • Facilitate discussions of load or performance testing.
  • Provide Quality Assurance Review of all technical components included in complex customer solution configurations.
  • Set post sales expectations of client requirements with internal departments such as professional services, and customer success teams.
  • Travel as and when needed to visit clients on site for large and complex opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technical leaders within the education sector, including CTO/CIO.

  • Demonstratable technical sales related experience.

  • Proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • SaaS Sales/technical expertise.
