Responsibilities
  • Work primarily on frontend development with occasional backend projects; collaborate with product managers and designers through the full software lifecycle from design to deployment.
  • Release code to production frequently, with a daily release cycle and frequent iterations.
  • Contribute to a frontend-focused stack using technologies such as React and TypeScript; learn and adapt to the team’s full-stack context as needed.
  • Engage in a distributed engineering environment across Europe, contributing to viator.com, mobile apps, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Participate in building tools that help operators, travelers, and customer services teams globally.
Qualifications
  • Experience with a statically typed, object-oriented language such as Java, C#, or C++; bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies in the stack (e.g., React, TypeScript, GraphQL); willingness to learn backend concepts when needed.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and a drive to learn in a fast-paced environment.
