An innovative media agency is seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee content strategy and performance across multiple platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This role involves creating engaging content, analyzing social metrics, and ensuring community engagement while contributing to brand campaigns. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing social media for content brands, possesses strong writing skills, and has a passion for food culture.
We’re looking for a social media manager to lead content planning, creative briefing, publishing, engagement and performance across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn. You’ll run day-to-day social delivery for delicious., our multichannel food media brand, and contribute to campaigns for a growing portfolio of high-profile foodie clients. You’ll bring sharp instincts for what works on each platform, stay on top of trends, own audience insight, and know exactly how to hook people — and keep them coming back.

The Social Media Manager leads daily output across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn — supporting organic growth for delicious. and delivering campaign activity for a growing roster of foodie clients. The role covers planning, publishing, creative briefing, community management and reporting, in close collaboration with the content team and Digital Marketing Manager. A focus on performance and continuous optimisation is key.
Channel Strategy & Growth
● Own the growth strategy for each social platform — set objectives, define KPIs and
track performance over time.
● Stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and new formats and test new opportunities
where relevant.
● Act as the voice of our social audience — share insights from community
engagement, DMs, and comments to guide planning and ideation.
Content Planning & Publishing
● Plan, create, and publish daily content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest,
TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
● Translate content and seasonal priorities into platform-specific formats, copy and
calendars.
● Brief and collaborate with the content and creative teams on required visuals, video
or animation assets.
● Contribute creative ideas for partnership proposals and pitch decks when needed.
● Interpret client briefs and translate them into scroll-stopping posts that meet business
objectives and commercial goals.
Campaign & Cross-Channel Support
● Contribute to the central content marketing planner and ensure social content aligns
with campaign objectives and timelines.
● Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Content & Platform Manager to
align social with email, paid, and digital content strategies.
● Support digital marketing campaigns with organic and paid social posts; collaborate
on content-led activations and paid creative.
● Coordinate with paid media partners and contribute to campaign performance
analysis.
Community & Customer Engagement
● Monitor and respond to audience comments, DMs, and tags across social platforms
— maintaining a consistent, brand-aligned tone of voice.
● Act as the first point of contact for customer service queries that come via social,
escalating to fulfilment or subscriptions support as needed.
● Support the community experience across Facebook groups or similar owned
channels, feeding insights into broader audience planning.
Performance & Reporting
● Monitor engagement, reach, saves and shares across all social platforms — report
weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
● Identify high-performing content and areas for improvement, feeding insights into
planning and editorial debriefs.
● Collaborate with the Content & Platform Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to
contribute social metrics to wider reporting cycles (e.g. monthly brand meeting,
STW).
● Ensure consistency in how performance is tracked and interpreted across social and
site channels.
Commercial Support
● Collaborate with the commercial team to deliver branded social campaigns — from
content planning through publishing and reporting.
● Interpret client briefs and translate them into scroll-stopping, on-brand social posts.
● Act as the social point of contact for branded content activations, including feedback
loops, performance tracking, and reporting.
● Contribute creative ideas for partnership proposals, pitch decks, and commercial
planning when needed.
Essentials
● Demonstrable experience managing social channels for a content brand or publisher.
● Excellent writing and visual instincts — you know what hooks people.
● Proficient in Canva, Meta Business Suite, scheduling tools and short-form video
editing.
● Analytical mindset with a good grasp of social metrics and insights.
● Experience working with food content or lifestyle/recipe brands.
Familiarity with audience development or newsletter growth through social.
● Confident using community insights to inform content decisions (e.g. FB Group
engagement).
