Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the R&D partner for the Head of Business Analytics, translating strategic business needs into executable analytical and technical designs.
  • Conduct hands‑on, exploratory analysis and prototyping, building complex models and simulations (e.g., Monte Carlo) to test hypotheses and prove concepts for forecasting and scenario planning.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to our Data Science and Analytics team, ensuring the successful implementation, automation, and long‑term scalability of the models you design.
  • Manage the entire modelling lifecycle, from initial design and development through to production, with a focus on delivering robust and accurate solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and source the data needed to build innovative and impactful analytical solutions.

You will be a key driver in this group, leading the technical design and prototyping of our most challenging projects.
  • The Regional Performance Management Team: This team serves as the "boots on the ground," leveraging the tools you help to create to drive business performance.
  • The Analytics Operations Team: This team formalizes and automates established analytical processes, ensuring the long‑term stability and scalability of the tools and algorithms you help to develop.
Personal Abilities:
  • Exceptional Problem-Solving: A proven ability to break down complex, ambiguous business problems into manageable analytical challenges. You thrive on intellectual puzzles and can think creatively to find solutions.
  • Deep Technical Acumen: You have a hands‑on, expert-level command of computational science, statistical modelling, and coding (Python, SQL). You're comfortable getting deep into the data and the code to build prototypes.
  • A Self‑Starter Mentality: You're a proactive, hands‑on individual who is excited by the opportunity to design and build new things from the ground up.
  • Curiosity & Drive: A strong intellectual curiosity and a drive to stay current with the latest advancements in AI and data science, always looking for new ways to apply them to business challenges.
