Role Purpose

The Skills Resource Coordinator will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and supporting the delivery of Flannery’s Skills Bootcamp programmes. This position ensures learners, trainers, equipment, and training sites are organised effectively, providing a smooth, positive, and high-quality learner journey. The role combines administrative coordination, learner support, communication with internal teams, and operational scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for Skills Bootcamp participants from enrolment through to completion.
  • Conduct initial learner onboarding activities including documentation checks, induction scheduling, and system setup.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, attendance data, and progress tracking.
  • Provide ongoing communication and support to ensure learners remain engaged and informed.
  • Arrange assessments, testing, and certification, ensuring compliance with awarding body requirements.
  • Schedule trainers, assessors, and internal resources to meet programme needs.
  • Ensure the programme runs to agreed timelines and escalates risks or delays when needed.
  • Support communication with employers regarding learner placements, course updates, and outcomes.
  • Build positive working relationships with trainers, managers, job centres, and support partners.
  • Maintain accurate data within internal systems (e.g., CRM, LMS, MIS).
  • Support quality assurance processes, including capturing learner feedback and preparing documents for audits.
  • Prepare programme reports, completion summaries, and KPI tracking.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance learner experience and programme efficiency.
  • Support development of new processes, templates, and documentation.
  • Assist in developing best-practice systems for scheduling, learner tracking, and resource allocation.
Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple cohorts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in administration or coordination roles, ideally within training, education, or recruitment.
  • Confidence using digital systems (CRM, LMS, spreadsheets).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Desirable
  • Experience working within Skills Bootcamps, apprenticeships, or funded training programmes.
  • Understanding of construction or plant hire industry operations.
  • Experience liaising with external employers or training partners.
